
PROJECT: MSL worked on a special project for a global food and beverage company with unique and specific logistic requirements. The project, which was given on short notice (5 to 7 business days), required MSL to provide price, transit time, service options from the ex-factory to various sites overseas in multiple countries, and to find the right carrier at the right price with an optimum transit time.
PROJECT: MSL worked on a project for a global corporation and world leader in specialty glass and ceramics, which involved relocating the client’s entire factory of expensive machineries from the United States to China. The entire project was estimated to take from 10 months up to a year to complete.
PROJECT: A business applications company needed to ship brand new equipment from multiple countries in Europe to the United States. The main shipment included an industrial casting mold worth over US$5 million.
PROJECT: MSL worked on a project for one of the world’s largest iron and steel conglomerates. The client urgently required the delivery of large, specialized equipment for their Shanghai Plant to speed up their steel production. Since this was the first time that this enterprise acquired an equipment of enormous size, a lot of effort was spent in handling it in a professional and timely manner.
PROJECT: A new factory in Tianjin, China was to be inaugurated and a big ceremony was scheduled, to be attended by top officials from the Chinese government. MSL was required to come up with a plan that would involve large and substantial equipment to be flown in from Helsinki, Finland to Tianjin, China in one flight.
PROJECT: MSL worked on a project that involved the shipment of expensive and vibration-sensitive equipment from a supplier in The Netherlands to a remote site in Shanghai, China.
